Many of our managers started life as chefs or serving staff, before going on to become managers or head chefs. The kitchen is the heart of each restaurant and our chefs are what makes the heart beat; using fresh, authentic ingredients to create fantastic dishes in just minutes. They play a key part in our menu development too. Worried that you haven’t worked with Pan Asian food before? We provide top notch training. Some of our wok masters started with little experience but moved up through the ranks.
Our management team takes pride in ensuring our customers get the best out of their Tampopo visit. Many started out as servers and like the rest of us, caught the hospitality bug.

Our front of house team really is the face of Tampopo. If you are looking to start a career in hospitality or want a part time job to see you through university, then we may have a role for you. Working on front of house is fun, exciting and rewarding. It’s a role that’s packed full of transferable skills, and you get to earn much more than the national minimum wage!
